By creating an account or using Makubook, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

Who can use Makubook

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By signing up, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet this age requirement.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you think someone else has access to it.

Content you submit

You keep ownership of the recipes, photos, and comments you post. By submitting them, you grant Makubook a license to display and distribute that content on the platform. You confirm that you have the rights to everything you post — don't submit photos or text that belong to someone else without permission.

Moderation

New recipes are reviewed by an editor before they're published. We reserve the right to remove or reject any content that violates these terms, and to suspend accounts that repeatedly do so.

Recipes and food safety

Recipes on Makubook are submitted by other users and are not verified or tested by us. We don't guarantee the accuracy of ingredients, instructions, allergen information, or nutritional content. Always use your own judgment, especially if you have food allergies or dietary restrictions — you cook and eat at your own risk.

Prohibited conduct

• Posting spam, harassment, hate speech, or illegal content.
• Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your affiliation with anyone.
• Posting content you don't have the rights to, including copyrighted photos or recipes.
• Attempting to disrupt, hack, or abuse the platform or other users' accounts.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Makubook is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by Finnish and EU law, Makubook is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site or its content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland.

Changes
